2nd Graduate Education in Physics Conference

APS plans to hold a second two-day conference to focus national attention on graduate education in physics.  Following the success of the first conference, APS envisions including a significant student voice in the activities, including a good representation from a diverse graduate student cohort.  There should also be a significant increase in the number of industrial and national lab representatives, since more than two thirds of the PhDs in physics find permanent employment outside of academia.

Stay tuned for more information!
