Pais Prize Debuts at April Meeting.
 The APS has awarded the Pais Prize, named after the late distinguished physicist and historian Abraham Pais, for the first time at its April Meeting in Tampa. The Prize recognizes outstanding scholarly achievements in the history of physics, and the inaugural recipient was Martin J. Klein, Eugene Higgins Professor Emeritus of Physics and History of Science at Yale. In the photo Klein (left) and Ida Nicolaisen, widow of Abraham Pais, hold the Pais Prize certificate.
